Law Day May 7, 2010, Waymire Building, Adams County Fairgrounds

Law Day will be observed on May 7, 2010 at the Waymire Building on the Adams County Fairgrounds, 9577 Henderson Road.  The breakfast will commence at 7:00 o'clock a.m.  This year's theme is “Law in the 21^st Century:  Enduring Traditions, Emerging Challenges.”  More information will be provided once it becomes available.  Mark your calendars and plan on attending.

Floyd Marks Scholarship Application

Magistrate Brian Bowen Receives Colorado Judicial Institute Judicial Excellence Award

Magistrate Brian Bowen received the Seventh Annual Colorado Judicial Institute's Award for Judicial Excellence for a Magistrate.  Magistrate Bowen was recognized for his excellence as a Magistrate and for his service to the legal profession.  This award is given to one magistrate statewide each year.  Congratulations to Magistrate Bowen for his commitment to excellence on the bench.

New E-Filing Requirements in Probate and Domestic Relations Cases

Effective January 1, 2010 all Probate and Domestic Relations filings must be completed electronically.  For more information review Chief Judge Directive 09-06 regarding Probate Cases and Chief Judge Directive 09-07 regarding Domestic Relations cases.
