2026-2027 ABBA Officers

Ms. Karre was elected President of the Adams Broomfield Bar Association in June 2026.     

Ms. Whitney was elected Vice President of the Adams Broomfield Bar Association in June 2026.

 Ms. Whitney has been practicing law in Colorado since 2008. Initially working in private practice, she has been with the Thornton City Attorney's Office since 2018 and is currently a Senior Assistant City Attorney focusing on development and land use issues     

Mr. Hagerty was elected Treasurer of the Adams Broomfield Bar Association in June 2026.  

Mr. Atherton was elected Secretary of the Adams Broomfield Bar Association in June 2026.

Mr. Atherton has been practicing as a Deputy District Attorney since 2015 and is currently a Senior Lead Deputy District Attorney at the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.

Ms. Moore has been the Executive Director of the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association since 2007.  

Officers for the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association are elected by the membership at a general membership meeting every June. They serve a term of one year.  Customarily, no officer serves more than one year in any elected position. They are uncompensated volunteers.

The Executive Director's position is a part-time, compensated position. The Executive Director serves at the pleasure of the officers.
